Your local biergarten. This is a must among visitors as well as locals for their in-house brewery and their perfectly crisp Schnitzel. There is plenty of space inside and outside with the outside being mostly covered by trees giving it a nice ambiance in the evening and providing shade during warm afternoons. If you are searching for lively Austrian hospitality, give Die Weisse a try. Local tip: Our favorite drink is the “Russian” which is Weiss bier mixed with zitrone. Open from Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 12 AM. Around the corner from our hotel at Rupertgasse 10.
taj mahal
If you are craving spice, the Taj Mahal is just around the corner from our hotel! This authentic Indian cuisine is honestly our favorite and we couldn’t recommend it more. Options for vegetarians and vegans are plentiful and the house-made nan bread is simply delicious. Our personal favorite is the classic butter chicken. No, but really it is so good. Find them on Bayerhamerstrasse 13 and visit 5 PM – 10 PM Monday, Tuesday – Friday 11:30 – 1:45 PM; 5 PM – 10 PM; Weekends 5 PM – 10 PM. Their kitchen closes at 9:30 PM!
